The StoryTellers

Welcome to the Storytellers!

Come tell a story, or two…. or many with us!

Who are we?

The Storytellers make up a discord community focused on keeping the early 2000's style of play by post forum roleplay alive and thriving. Our roots take us back to 2004, when we started out as a roleplay clan on an anime forum. We spent over a decade there creating, building, and roleplaying together with the other clans and roleplayers.

Back in June 18 2017 we made the big move to discord.

Our history is built in forum roleplay, where each post was its own roleplay. Some were self contained whole worlds, while others followed the story of a single locations, or plot. You were never sure what you were gonna find but you knew it would be great.

The best part! This was created by a community of people who for years came together. Making the ability to find flow and build life long friends possible.

We want to help ensure that this style of community and roleplay stays alive.

How do we do this? What do we offer?

• We're a 18+ SFW space.

• No vetting - Our forums play host to Casual - Novella style rp.

Here the host decides the post size and frequency.

• Our "Here to roleplay" system walks new members through a handful of steps setting them up with a roleplay, and teaching how to roleplay in this style.

• Our "noodles" system ensures roleplays' get their needs filled.

• We celebrate, teach, and nurture public collaborative writing here.

We focus on group roleplays and regularly host workshops.

• Currently, all roleplays must fall under the Modern Fantasy genre.

With an outlet for other forms of rp on our sister server. Falling back on our old ways, of building, and creating stories for a larger community to join.
